The staff at CrossFit Bishop is dedicated to making the introduction process for our strength and conditioning program as smooth as possible. Each new person interested in joining Crossfit Bishop must start with our Fundamentals Classes, which are aimed at familiarizing all potential members with the movements, vernacular and culture of CrossFit.

CrossFit can be intimidating or appear out of reach to many people. Our goal is to get you started where you are at, regardless of your current fitness level. We want to set you up for success starting with your first day! By the time you move out of the Fundamentals classes, you should be ready to join the group class. And if you need a little extra time, you are more than welcome to stay in the Fundamentals as long as you like.

The CrossFit program is infinitely scalable and the intensity is up to you. Our goal in Fundamentals is to educate you first, then challenge you to push past physical boundaries. Anyone can do CrossFit, but it’s not for everyone. You have to be ready to change your perceptions of exercise and to drastically improve your fitness all while becoming a member of an amazing community. You’ve been warned: CrossFit may be addictive; You may make many friends by joining; You may start to like the way you look, and love the way you feel!
